About

On June 24, 2023, Ava's life was tragically cut short, leaving an immeasurable loss for her family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved her. Though her time here was far too brief, the joy she brought and the light she carried continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Ava had a beautiful spirit and a natural love for creativity. She was bright, expressive, and full of life-the kind of person who could light up a room with her smile and make people feel instantly at ease. Ava had a deep appreciation for the arts, especially music and theatre. She loved the magic of storytelling, the emotion of a song, and the way the arts bring people together. She was a passionate advocate for the environment, always eager to make the world a better place. Her appreciation for nature was matched by her deep love of music with The Beatles and Mac Miller holding special places in her heart. Her kindness extended to all living creatures, reflecting her boundless love for animals. She cherished the outdoors, finding peace and happiness in nature's embrace. A beach day, a stroll in Central Park, a picnic under her favorite tree along the Westside Highway and a sunset were some of her favorite things. Ava was attending Broadway shows at the young age of 2.  She was more than an audience member-she was family to the theatres. From ushers to security, everyone in the front of house knew her.  She even worked as an usher for The Shubert Theatre Organization. Ava was an active member of Rosie's Theatre Kids for over seven years, and she graduated from Talent Unlimited Performing Arts High School. She then furthered her education by attending Northern Vermont University, where she studied Psychology and was still a part of their theatre program.

In honor of Ava and her passion, Ava Conklin Foundation was created. This nonprofit foundation is dedicated to supporting and celebrating the arts, helping children and young adults discover their voices, explore their talents, and follow their dreams.

The arts have a unique power to heal, inspire, and connect us. Through this foundation, Ava's spirit continues to shine in every opportunity created, every dream encouraged, and every moment shared on stage. Her legacy lives on through the beauty of the lives that will be touched because of her.
